Beetson presented with centenary jersey

Indigenous rugby league legend Arthur Beetson received his Team of the Century jersey last night during the halftime break of the Tigers and Storm match.

The Team of the Century was named last season as part of the codes 2008 centenary celebrations, but Beetson was a notable absentee from the presentation ceremony.

Gold Coast Titans co-captain Scott Prince is likely to finish his career at the club after signing a four-year contract extension that will keep him on the Gold Coast until the end of 2014.

The 29-year-old will be 34 when his deal expires, but hasn’t ruled out playing beyond 20014.
